Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is a public research university in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Established in 1956 as Hong Kong Baptist College, it became a fully-fledged university in 1994. HKBU is known for its strong emphasis on holistic education, academic excellence, and nurturing whole-person development.
The architecture of HKBU represents the university's image. This year, our team chose a hand-drawn animated style depicting HKBU's buildings, reflecting the vibrant spirit of its students for HKBU's Christmas eCard. The Christmas tree with pine leaves and poinsettias adds a festive touch. The red ribbons beneath the buildings symbolise HKBU as a Christmas gift for all, including students, professors, staff, collaborators, sponsors, and the wider community. HKBU strives for academic excellence and societal impact.
