Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is a public research university in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Established in 1956 as Hong Kong Baptist College, it became a fully-fledged university in 1994. HKBU is known for its strong emphasis on holistic education, academic excellence, and nurturing whole-person development.
This year's Chinese New Year eCard from HKBU showcases a captivating design. It features a deep purple background with a striking golden rooster perched on a golden silhouette of a peach blossom tree. An eye-catching flowing orange canvas and a silhouette of the HKBU campus add a personal touch. The eCard is elegantly completed with the phrase "恭贺新禧" (Wishing you a Happy New Year) in a delicate peach-pink colour. The design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese paper-cutting art, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for the Lunar New Year celebrations.
